Når man har en tro på, at alle skal have lige muligheder og at anvende samfundets ressourcer til fælles bedste, skal man tage de initiativer, der er nødvendige. Det er ifølge Peter Horn logikken bag initiativet til og ejerskab af Kvinder I Bestyrelser. Men det er også baggrunden for, at kvinder dominerer i såvel organisationens formandskab som advisory board.
